Workspaces, team seats, and a redesigned MindMux interface

MindMux 26.9.4 adds workspaces, team plans and seats, a live brain citation graph, and a redesigned interface.

Highlights

  • Workspaces. Projects now live inside a workspace. Cloud projects are scoped to the workspace that owns them, a project's cloud brain attaches automatically on create and checkout, and checkouts land in a predictable Documents/mindmux/<workspace>/<project> folder. Existing local projects are migrated into your personal workspace.
  • Team plans and seats. Manage seats for a team workspace from Settings → Plan & billing, with membership kept up to date as it changes. Billing is limited to workspace owners and hidden on free accounts.
  • Brain citation graph. The workspace brain renders a real citation graph built from the [[wiki-link]] references in your pages — colored citation subtrees, sized hubs, hover adjacency, drag, and a live spotlight that dims and flashes nodes as the agent reads and writes them.
  • Redesigned interface. A rebuilt sidebar (workspace header with search, Home/Brain tabs, a collapsible Projects group with per-project sessions, and Recents), a card grid with tabbed detail for projects, a three-column Inbox triage board, a filterable Task space, and Settings sub-navigation moved out of the sidebar into the content area.
  • Simpler first run. Onboarding is now login → choose a runtime → chat, and the runtime you pick carries into your first session.
  • Brain write awareness. When an agent writes a page over MCP, that page opens in the sidebar with a sweep overlay labeled with the agent's name.
  • Health call counts. Brain Health counts today's reads and writes, with a day-over-day badge and a per-day sparkline.

Fixes

  • Google login and Plan & billing now stay on a live session instead of dropping out.
  • Missing Claude sessions are recovered, and stale resume state no longer wedges a chat.
  • Official and third-party Anthropic endpoints are routed separately, and Claude routing environment no longer leaks in from the parent process.
  • Project conversations are preserved when you navigate away, and a chat started from project home opens the session and stays scoped to that project.
  • Remote projects stay hidden from the sidebar until they're checked out, and clicking a remote project's card checks it out.
  • Chat history search is scoped to the current workspace.
  • Member permissions are respected for project sync access, and members no longer issue billing requests.
  • Remote page counts are shown before checkout, and the change-brain conflict dialog is back.
  • Password management is removed from the desktop app.

Improvements

  • The workspace Artifacts hub aggregates every sibling project and can filter by project and kind.
  • Inbox is a full split page instead of a sheet, watching GitHub remotes across every project in the workspace.
  • Brain Feed reads page timelines, and the workspace hub merges entries from every project.
  • Document import is restored for workspace brains, and you can peek another project's pages without switching focus.
  • mindmux://settings?tab=workspace-billing opens Settings → Plan & billing, so checkout on the website can land back in the app.
