Use the MindMux Cloud Brain MCP server to let an MCP-compatible client read and update the Cloud Brains available to your MindMux account.

The server uses OAuth. You sign in with your MindMux account in the browser during setup; do not create, copy, or paste an API key.

Before you start

You need access to an active Plus or Team Workspace.
The account you authorize can access only the Cloud Brains it is allowed to read or update in that Workspace.
MindMux requests read and write access. Your client shows the authorization screen before it receives access.

Server address

Use this Remote Streamable HTTP MCP server address in your client:

Codex

In a terminal, add the server and start the OAuth sign-in flow:

Your browser opens the MindMux authorization page. Sign in, choose Authorize, then return to Codex. Confirm the server is available:

Claude Code

In the project where you use Claude Code, add the remote HTTP server:

Start Claude Code, run /mcp, select mindmux, and follow the browser sign-in and authorization flow. Use claude mcp list to confirm that the server was added.

Cursor

Open Settings → Tools & MCP, add a new remote Streamable HTTP server, and use the server address above. Cursor then opens the MindMux OAuth flow when you connect the server.

VS Code

Use the MCP server configuration in VS Code and add this entry to .vscode/mcp.json in the project you want to use:

Open Copilot Chat in Agent mode, enable mindmux in the tools picker, and complete the OAuth flow when prompted.

If your client supports a remote HTTP or Streamable HTTP MCP server with OAuth, add the server address above and complete its sign-in prompt. If it provides an agent-assisted setup flow, you can send it this instruction:

Add the MindMux Cloud Brain MCP as an HTTP server named mindmux at https://mcp.mindmux.ai/mcp, then log in.

Using your Cloud Brain

After authorization, ask your client to list the Workspaces or Cloud Brains available to you. MindMux will ask you to select a Cloud Brain when it needs one; it does not infer a Brain from a folder or repository name.

Use your MCP client's clear-authentication or remove-connection action to revoke a connection; the exact action depends on the client. After access is revoked, that client cannot read or change your Cloud Brains until you authorize it again.
